installing insulation in conservation areas
retrofit advice specific to historic and victorian houses
clean energy solutions such as solar panels and air source heat pumps
advice and support in applications for the boiler upgrade scheme.
The HEAT Hub comprises experts in the industry, including experienced architects, retrofit assessors and coordinators. They will work with homeowners to develop their energy efficiency journey, producing improvement plans that take into consideration how to preserve the heritage and quality of your home, but also to maximise investments made.
The free Home Energy Plans are adapted to offer different levels of support; 1. A green home 2. Clean heat and power, 3. Heritage and Conservation. Plans provide an assessment of the heat loss of the home through to the install of renewable energy systems, such as Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar PV Panels, as well as design specifics for heritage homes and guidance on government funding.
Free parking is available. The event is held at the Queens Walk Community Centre which is opposite the Queens Walk tram stop.
