The HEAT Hub’s Home Insulation workshop is delivered in person, with an option to visit our Climate Hub near Trent Bridge, for hands-on practical experience.  The workshop is designed for everyone wishing to make their homes warmer and improve overall comfort, cost less and be more suitable for technologies like heat pumps. 

This workshop will be delivered by the industry leading expert and CEO of UK Hempcrete Alex Sparrow. As well as being a globally recognised consultant on the subject of natural insulation materials, recent credits include writing and delivering a Practical Introduction to Conservation Retrofit course in partnership with industry specialist Nottingham Energy Partnership.  

The workshop will cover the fabric-first approach to installing insulation in your home to maximise the performance of the walls and roof and ensure a sustainable way to achieve energy efficiency. The range of materials, their costs and energy bill savings will also be included as well as a Q&A session.
