Webinar: Energy Efficiency for Older Homes

This online lunchtime session is designed to provide guidance on best practice when thinking about retrofitting energy efficiency measures to older, typically solid-walled, properties. You may also have conservation or listed building restrictions to consider.

The retrofit experts at Midlands charity Marches Energy Agency give an independent impartial discussion.

  • Are there low-cost things I can do?

  • What are the options for insulating my walls?

  • What can be done to avoid condensation problems?

  • Will I need planning permission?

  • Can I have a heat pump?

  • Are solar panels worth it?

  • What can I do about draughty windows and doors?

These questions and many more answered by Ben Webster, retrofit coordinator at MEA. This Zoom session will begin with a presentation, and then open up for your questions.

(A link for the Zoom session will be emailed to you once you've registered here.)
